Actuaries,Do I like it???

Let me first introduce the subject to you what does Actuarial Science actually means else it would be very hard to follow the topic and you will lead to a disaster full career if not followed properly.Actuaril Science is the study that applies "mathematical" and "statistical" aptitudes to assess risks in "Insurance and Finance" industries.History says the need for actuaries aroused first in Insurance sector with the increase in demand for long-term insurance coverages such as burial, life insurance and annuities. With the early 20th century came the boom in pension and healthcare schemes which demanded the study to analyze how the money should be handled to pay future benefits such as annuities and death benefits to the scheme holder. So,in short actuaries were needed to postulate the data in the form so that all money is handled and invested so as to pay whatever a scheme holder is entitled to.With a knowledge of basic "maths" and "stats" which is popularly known as "M N S" in this field a person can make a data which will give a present value of future sum.The study can also be applied to other forms of insurance such as "Property,Casuality,Liability and General" Insurance.Similary the study is also applied to finance to assess financial risks and to forecast the future of industry in terms of the revenue and costs. We know that there are very less number of domains that are not affected by technology and yes actuaries is also afftected by the technology in the way that previously actuaries professionals used to prepare data sheets, tables and used to analyze so much of data which demanded so much of time and calculations that were cumbersome, but with the advent and boom in computers actuaries are now actually feeling easy in their work. From pencil-paper to punchcards to high speed devices such as computers the modelling and forecasting abilities of the actuary has grown exponentially and the actuaries needed to adjust to the new world to revolutionize this field.

Other subjects needed are
1.Programming languages
2.Finance
3.economics
4.Probability

So those people interested in these domains and find themseleves very much involved in above subjects then for you guyzz actuaries is the place to be in future.

Mom Dad wat to do now after class 12

Dear all,

I am back hope I have instigated something in u to pursue what u like.My mere desire is that everyone abandon what they are doing and they should Imbibe the courage in them to pursue what they like. Not caring for the money or the returns from a particular career one should opt for a career which suits one interest.I have interacted with many students of high school. The thing they lack is that they dont know what they are interested in as they are unaware because most of the outside world is obscure.First of all advice to all parents that if you want your child to be oriented towards your side of interest then standard 1-5 is the most crucial time in which children get influenced by their siblings, parents, relatives and peers. You have to make sure that your child is having good environment to ensure that he will prosper later on in life.As learning never ends and its never too late or early to get deviated to what you like there is no age no bar for it.We have seen many engineers turned managers, managers turned writers, doctor turned singers. So its the feeling inside you that guides to the path that decides your career. In my perspective earning lot of money will lead you no where besides in then end of your life when you will be lying on your bed diseased you will feel regret that you might have perceived what did you like.

gear up Pursue what you like not what will earn you more money
